Menu for the Week Of 6/13/10

I love to have a plan in mind when it comes to evening meals.  More often than not my husband and I sit there looking at each other.  Both are frustrated that the other one doesn't know what we should make, so we end up with cereal or eggs.

Next week though, I pledge to be prepared.  I have search from some new recipes to try and found quite a few.  They are in no particular order.  I am going to write the recipe titles on a small chalk board in my kitchen.  When I select a meal for the day, I will simple cross through it.

Sounds like a plan.  Let's just see if I stick too it.

Meal One...
grilled chicken quesadillas with corn and black beans
salad topped with watermelon salsa and guacamole
diced apple and pear

Meal Two...
farmhouse chicken bake
carrots
pineapple, banana fruit smoothie

Meal Three...
sunshine casserole
broccoli
grapes

Meal Four...
meatloaf
peas
watermelon slices

Meal Five...
three cheese baked spaghetti
salad
baked bread
diced watermelon

I will post the recipe for watermelon salsa soon.  I only plan 5 meals a week because we will always have left overs at least once and inevitably something will come up and we will have to eat out.  That being said... I hope you enjoy this week's menu.  All of the main course recipes come from the featured blog, Tammy's Recipes.  She has tons of yummy ideas to check out.
