swine flu

The swine flu has hit the elementary school were I work really hard this year.  Some classrooms have 4-5 kids out at a time with the flu.  I have only had one flu case in my classroom, but I think I may have caught the nasty booger anyways.  I need to go to my doctor on Monday to confirm.

Here are the symptoms:

  • unusual tiredness
  • headache
  • runny nose
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath
  • cough
  • loss of appetite
  • aching muscles
  • diarrhea or vomiting.
Most case of the swine flu will also run fever.  From reading online, you can have as few as 2 of these symptoms and still have this strand of the flu.  Better to be safe than sorry... if in doubt, visit the doctor.
