The other day Little J and I were coloring pictures with chalk pastels. He had been drawing for about an hour when he started building with the pastels. I asked him what he had made... it was a wonderfully, amazing ROBOT HOUSE.
Imaginative play is my absolute favorite activity for my boys. It seems now a days children have a really hard time pretending. They spend so much time watching t.v. and playing videos that going outside and actually playing is a thing of the past. A couple chalk pastels and a lego robot and JJ played for another 30 minutes at least.
