Every year we decorate a gingerbread house before the holiday. This year I found this really cool gingerbread tree. Decorating it was alot more fun and very simple, but the eating the tree was a chore. The frosting stuck the stars that form the tree together like glue. It was almost impossible to break any of it apart. Needless to say... bring on the gingerbread house next year.
As for holiday photos this year, I must say that they were not that great. Many of them turned out very grainy and the expressions on the boys' faces were less than optimal. This was the first Christmas were I didn't get that perfect shot.
I think that might just be because this is also the first Christmas were both of the boys really enjoyed the entire day to its fullest. We simplified this year, yet I think this was the most memorable holiday thus far.
